HAVANA

TO SANTIAGO DE CUBA

IN SANTIAGO DE CUBA

  • Breakfast at Hotel. Departure for the City tour. Stop for photo time in Plaza de la Revolución ¨Antonio Maceo¨
    Continue in Bus through the undulating streets of Santiago admiring the movements of its inhabitants. Visit to the Museum of July 26th, former Moncada Barracks, where you will learn details of the revolutionary history of Cuba. At the end, visit the Historic Center, Cathedral Square or Céspedes Park, around which are located the most important Mansions and Streets of Santiago, visit the Diego Velásquez Museum Free time for photos and purchase of handicrafts in the Castle of San Pedro de la Roca from where you can enjoy the beauty of the bay, visit the Piracy Museum that holds the title of World Heritage.

Days 5

SANTIAGO DE CUBA-BAYAMO- CAMAGUEY.

  • Breakfast at Hotel
    Departure to Camaguey, in transit visit to the Sanctuary of ¨Caridad del Cobre(Patroness of Cuba) ¨located in the town of the same name. Continuation of the trip, visit the City of Bayamo, the second oldest in Cuba, founded in 1513 by Diego Velásquez, known as the City of the National Anthem. Visit the Anthem Square and the first Revolution Square Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, as well as the birthplace of this Cuban hero.
    Lunch in Bayamo.
    Continue to Camaguey. Camagüey, also known as the city of tinajones, is the third largest Cuban city on the island of Cuba, located between Ciego de Ávila and Las Tunas.
    Its city is characteristic for the unique urban layout. Its labyrinthine streets, remind more a Moroccan city. According to legend, the reason for the narrow and hidden alleys was the need to protect city and habitants against pirates attack . Camaguey was founded in 1514 as Santa María del Puerto Príncipe.

CAMAGUEY-TRINIDAD.

Visit of the Workers' Square, the church of La Merced, Plaza San Juan de Dios, Plaza "Ignacio Agramonte" and the boulevard. Continue to Trinidad. Lunch, in route ,at a local restaurant.

Days 7

TRINIDAD-CIENFUEGOS.

    Visit the Plaza Mayor, the Cantero Palace and the Canchanchara Bar where you can enjoy a typical welcome drink, and listen to live traditional Cuban music. Lunch at a restaurant located at historic center of Trinidad and continue the route to the city of Cienfuegos.

CIENFUEGOS-VARADERO-HAVANA
